Hello all.
The next task in my "Better Blogging in 30 Days" challenge (which I obviously am not doing in consecutive days) is to find 10 new influencers in your niche.
Since I don't have a very specific niche, I chose to write about lifestyle blogs that have a strong use of photography. Many of these came from the magical Bloglovin is it makes some great suggests for new blogs based on what you already read.
- heart of light: I discovered Rachel's blog on Cupcakes and Cashmere last week, and I absolutely love it. heart of light has such a quaint combination of cooking, DIY, and travel: three things I am most interested in. I love the aesthetics she uses in her photos and posts in general. Most of all I love her adorable terrier Circe.
Photo credit to heart of light - a pair & a spare: I discovered Geneva Vanderzeil's last week during a blog binge. I feel slightly overwhelmed by the amount of DIY tutorials and ideas every time I visit the blog (one of the reasons I have to avoid Pinterest. I don't know when I'll have an excuse to make a pineapple vase, but I really want to.
Photo credit to a pair & a spare - A Cup of Jo: Here's a great one by Joanna Goddard that I also discovered last week. It's a nice union of fashion and home style. I'm really loving one of her most recent posts which is about uses for essential oils.
Photo credit to A Cup of Jo - Oh So Lovely: Stef and Erin are the queens of vintage. Their blog is this super sweet mix of DIY, fashion, home and personal style and general lifestyle. I don't come across a lot of blogs about multiple people that feel so personal, and I love that.
Photo credit to Oh So Lovely - Skunkboy: Katie merges her family, music, fashion and art together into one beautiful masterpiece. Katie's blog has one of my favorite blog features: challenges and calls to action. I can't wait to try the Disposable Camera Challenge.
Photo credit to Skunkboy - The Dainty Squid: This blog is addicting. As I was writing this post I proceeded to get lost in Kaylah's photography, style and adventures. I can't help but fantasize about film photography after admiring her work (those three film cameras in my closet are calling to me).
Photo credit to The Dainty Squid - The Lune Blog: The Lune Blog is a journal of Jill Munro's life. It's simply a beautiful union between home and travel through an artist's eyes.
Photo credit to Lune - Our City Lights: Diana writes about everything she loves; this creates a blog that is so honest and so personal. Don't mind me, I'm just going to paste in another photo of a dog.
Photo credit to Our City Lights - World of Wanderlust: Travel blogs are like candy. You start reading and you can't get enough. At least that's the case with me. Brooke Saward's is a type of travel blog I love: striking scenes, wining, dining and adventure.
Photo credit to World of Wanderlust - Selective Potential: Tieka does something really nice on her blog that I really like: she combines her fashion photos with her travel and adventures. I love that I can see her out and about in beautiful places in her stunning outfits, rather than a typical urban fashion shoot.
