The beginning of this post was written on Wednesday July 23.
The view from my gate at the Salt Lake City Airport in Utah.
However, let's add me being sick into the mix.
If you have ever had the displeasure of flying with sinus troubles, you will understand my frustration. It's like having an ice pick stabbed into your brain repeatedly.
My first flight was the worst because my medication had worn off and I was surrounded by loud babies and toddlers. What a frustrating four and a half hours.
I essentially stumbled off the plane in Salt Lake City and into a store yelling "COLD MEDS."
"What kind do you normally take?"
"Aleve Cold and Sinus."
"We don't have that."
"GIVE ME ANYTHING AND TAKE MY MONEY."

"We don't have that."
"GIVE ME ANYTHING AND TAKE MY MONEY."
I've sneezed (not intentionally) on possibly fifty people. That includes one elderly man who looked really happy before I sneezed on him, and I still feel really guilty.
I don't know if my sneezing is because my immune system is really effective, or if my body is just trying to make everyone else suffer too.
I got off my plane and sat down in an empty San Diego Airport at about 11 p.m.
My boyfriend and ended up taking different flights, and his got delayed. He was already set to arrive about twenty minutes after me, so now it's a nice long waiting game with only the janitor sweeping the carpet behind me to keep me company.

Fun fact, I don't know if all airports have this, but the San Diego Airport seems to have a restroom just for animals...
At this point my post switches to current time, Wednesday July 30.
Ryan's flight finally arrived. As soon as he came out of his gate he was rushing me out to meet our ride. I didn't approach the computer again until at least Saturday night.
We managed to find Ryan's brother Chris and his friend Jim. Jim was essentially letting us take over his house during Comic-Con.
We got to his house a little outside of San Diego around midnight. We met Chris's friend Mickey who was attending Comic-Con for the first time as well.
Ryan and I crashed fairly quickly, and that was the end of our first day of travel.
