Day 2 (I guess): Define your ideal target person

8:57 AM

Oddly enough, when you Google target person, you get quite a few results about people who love to shop at Target.

Fun piece of trivia there.

I think this post took a very long time to write because I had no idea what my ideal target person would be. Who is my audience.

When I started this blog initially it had been an exercise in creativity, as well as bravery. It would cause me to actually write and take photos, and then have the courage to share them.

Ideally I guess I had just hoped that strangers would be my audience, primarily so that I wouldn't embarrass myself when people I know in real life saw a post that wasn't ideal.

I guess if I had to define one ideal target person, just one, it would be someone I don't know, who shares similar interests with me, who I can inspire.

I'm not quite sure how to inspire someone, but I guess it's a lofty enough goal to aim for.

Alright enough of that.

If you follow my Instagram feed, you may have surmised that I recently adopted a new kitten. This is Rex, my 14 week old Maine Coon mix.

Initially we went to PetSmart to adopt his sister Tiger Lily. When we arrived she had just been adopted, but Rex ended up proving to be a better fit for us. We adopted him from Animal People Inc. on the July 12 and took him home the next day.

He has fit in quite nicely. Kona warmed up to him after a few days, and Jetta loved her new chew toy, sorry I mean Rex, almost instantly.

Enjoy the cuteness.

I travel to San Diego for San Diego Comic Con 2014 tomorrow. I'll be updating this blog before I go and live tweeting the whole way there. Make sure to follow me @KaliKavouklis
