Summertime

Happy International Sushi Day!

In my quest to become Leslie Knope I've decided to celebrate holidays all the time. While Leslie celebrates random holidays based on meaningful events, I just want to make any holiday into a meaningful event.

Well maybe they're not all meaningful events...

Yesterday Root Beer Day was celebrated by drinking root beer while watching "Altered States" (Monday is Movie Monday in my world).

International Sushi Day was celebrated today with sushi from Bento Cafe.

I find myself doing a lot of weird things every summer (these holidays included). Well maybe not just during the summer, but most often occurring then. In addition to my 21 Before 21 list (which I will start on my 20th birthday, August 12) I'm going to do a summer to-do list.

I've done a summer to-do list for the past two years, and I have a lot of fun adventures because of it.

While this summer is busier than ever with classes and multiple jobs, I still want to fit in fun stuff too.

So tonight I will build the list, and tomorrow I post deal? Have any suggestions for it?

In the meantime here are some songs that I listened too continuously during past summers (and this summer).
