Disney

So I completed #40 on my summer list...

DISNEY HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

On Monday my wonderful boyfriend Ryan took me to Disney. We drove down that morning and met his friend Becky who works for Disney.

I had never been to the park before, and I totally geeked out.

So I sucked at taking photos, because my phone died. Here is my limited selection.

Ryan and I at the "Beauty and the Beast" show.

The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! is the best show at the park, by far. I am jealous of those mats, I wish we could have them for our chessboard at the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire.
One cool thing? Monsters University came out last Friday, and at 6 p.m. we attended the MU Homecoming...Yes I'm a child.

I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with me, but I love Disney. The logic I function on is that I require the same entertainment as an elementary aged child. So thus, no matter what is said about the corporation, I'm going to be highly entertained by Disney.

Here are my favorites from the park, in order of preference:

Best Attractions:
  1. Star Tours: I love Star Wars. I wore a giant smile on my face every time we rode Star Tours. There are many possibilities about what scenes you'll get every time you ride. Ryan joked that he was cursed to always get Hoth. We got Kashyyyk...once.
  2. Tower of Terror: I am not easily frightened by rides, but Tower of Terror scared the crap out of me. We really should have bought the photo...we looked CRAZY.
  3. Rock 'N' Roller Coaster: Every roller coaster should have music. That's all.

Best Shows:
  1. The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!: Best thing I saw at Hollywood Studios HANDS DOWN. The woman who played the Casting Director was hysterical, the stunts were awesome and the show was actually exciting. I would love to watch that every day.
  2. Muppet*Vision 3D: I love the Muppets. Even though the show is a little outdated, I loved it. It was funny and clever. That was enough.
  3. American Idol Experience: We only attended the finale show, so obviously we saw the best of the day. They were fantastic! This amazing 19-year-old from Nashville sang "Independence Day". I'm not a fan of country, but I was sold on this girl. Her voice was superior to many I've heard on the actual show.
SO...

What's your favorite Disney park?
